“It’s called Horgan Ranch?”
It sure is! And it used to be one of Redwood City’s best kept neighborhood secrets. However, Horgan Ranch (which borders Atherton to the South, El Camino to the East & Woodside Road to the North) is having its moment in the sun. Not surprising considering this special sliver of real estate used to house the world’s chrysanthemum flower industry.
I live in the Redwood Oaks section of Horgan Ranch (closer to the El Camino border) and most of my neighbors have lived in their homes for 10, 20, even 30 years! Horgan Ranch is one of those rare Mid-Peninsula neighborhoods where you’ve got proximity to grocery stores and restaurants but also peace and quiet — a winning combo for sure. As a real estate agent focusing on the Mid-Peninsula I can tell you that my clients love the quality of life in Horgan Ranch while I love the different price points and types of homes found here. From condos and townhouses to smaller single family homes (starting around $1.0 million) all the way to gorgeous new-construction homes that top $3.0 million — there’s something for everyone to love in Horgan Ranch.
